I disagree because if you don't have a college or a graduate you don't have hability to support your job. Dairily, to development job you have to show your competence.

Some decades before the families education used to be different. The Families were bigger than today. Women has less children than before. The better quality of life the couple expect the less women has been at home to education children and take care the house.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is a traditional American holiday which was originally celebrated by the pilgims/earliest settlers to give thanks at the conclusion of the harvest season. It was the first Fall in the new country and the Pilgrims wanted to share a meal with the Indians, who had helped them plant and harvest their first crops!

Nowadays, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November with a family dinner. It is a reason to spend time together and "relax".

Families and friends gather for a festive meal where certain kinds of food are served. First and foremost, turkey is the featured item in most Thanksgiving feasts (so much so that Thanksgiving is sometimes referred to as "Turkey Day"). Stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, corn, turnips, yams and pumpkin pie are commonly associated with Thanksgiving dinner.

Guests often bring food items or help with cooking in the kitchen as part of a happy, communal meal.

The meal usually starts early in the afternoon. Afterwards, everyone gathers around the TV to watch "the game" (American football game: usually great half -time shows) or takes a walk together.

The day after Thanksgiving marks the start of the shopping season!!  The Friday after Thanksgiving is often called "Black Friday".  Black refers to "getting out of the red and into the black numbers" i.e. getting out of debt/negative results (red numbers).

This day is the biggest shopping day of the year. Stores will be super crowded, but shoppers will be rewarded with fantastic sales.
Often, stores will open early. Early = 3 AM or earlier. Look for "door buster deals": this day you will find a limited amount of TVs and appliances deeply discounted for a limited time (i.e. until 11 AM)- just to get people into the store. The savings are amazing if you dare to brave the crowds! The best way to shop is to prepare: stores will advertise their "Black Friday" specials a week in advance.

Life expectancy

Statistics demonstrate that more and more people are aging in Brazil.
For instance, this is good because the more people live, the more they can learn and do different things.
The problem is that it`s the number of cases of mental disease is increasing. There is no question that this is related to aging population.
More and more families have to take care of their parents and sometimes they don`t have time or they can`t afford them.
The less children take care of them, the higher the number of rest homes and the higher the number of unhappy elderly.

I agree with Reiko and Laura. In my opinion, I do not see problems when animals are used for medical researches. Many lives are saved. On the other hand, animals in general don`t have to be used for entertainment, because we know not only do they suffer a lot but also they don`t live in good conditions.
Animals must be well-cared for.

Does anyone else get as fed up as I do about the inhumane treatment of animals? In my opinion, animals should never be killed just for sport or entertainment. Hunting, bulfighting, and any other "sport' tha involves the killing of defenseless animals should be completely banned. What do you all think? Is killing animals ever justified?

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF LIVING IN THE CITY

I like to live in the city, and I prefer bigs cities, with a lot of people in the streets and other many things that annoying my friends. The advantage of living in a big city is that you have everything you need, anytime: acess a cultural goods, infra-structure, good heath care and also excelents schools. But there are many and importants disadvantages too. In a big city you don't have fresh air and the pollution brings some ills. The violence is something common and the people are almost always in hurry. I don't know if it is a advantage, but a urban beauty is something that is only appreciate to whom lives in a big city, like the traffic lights, noisy and no empty space.

Can you describe your professional personality?

Do you know some job in which people who boosts your career  and who helpe their collegues to do something better to the company ? That’s my dream’s job. By the way,  who wouldn’t like get  a chance to work with this kind of people who are helpful and give us honest suggest when we most need it?.
I’m talking about a team player, a person who has a important role for everybody grow up with him/her. I’m not sure if exist some statistic number of good professional like somebody I’m talking about, but I’ve had experience from the job in which people tryied to be friendly, eficientte and professional at the same time. Unfortunately, my last job was completely different from that I’ve come up.  I knew someone who has a dúbious behavior. She has been trying to be complicate, conservetive, and hiding their skills avoiding share them with others co-workers. Can immage somebody who requires many jobs be gotten in a hurry? She is a really tynrant. As a workaholic, she think everybody must to be same her.
This case is only once to the million that exist around us. On the other hand, there is much people  such as good friend and a good professional that add us knowledgy and make us to see and think different from the others. That people really are team player that contribut to the group achieves.
Being a team player is possible to contribute to the profit of the company and help it get the best opportunits. Thats song exagerate, but is not.  They are significant part of our inside job life.

spending habits

Being happy as a biger spender is not good idea as being a spendthrift. The old proverbs has already said: don't make extremes choices, it could be destructive. The sounds suspicions, but is not. I have trying to bring that proverb up and use it how much I can. It is not different when I need to manage my budget. Most parte of time I'm very seduce by clothes, books, CDs, etc.  and even I really want to get some of them, I stop to think and I talk by myself get out of it. Also, I have done an usuful tecnic which I call convincing by myself. Throught it I have been control my compulsive way, putting it into my mind. I'm trying to think if I saved up maney I would have opportunity to travel soon. After then, I start to make my futur's travel plans even it be longer.
That reallity what I described to you came from over time and over mistakes. I was going to be very irresponsable, but in time I understood how bad all of those were. I made a lot of mistakes like some day in the short past I had bought two big speakers I've never used. In thrue, the speakear were a good bargain and were very stylish, however, unusuful. Another day I saw a baroque chair and I thought it could be very charming in my room. At the same day I asked my boss to go out for a few minutes and I went to store to buy it. Summarizing, that chair was bigger than my door. There were a mount of others experiences that drove me to think how stupid I was being.
Actually I create my budget and a live within my mean, paying my debts in full and buying only what really I need.

Financial goals

Fisrt of all I think that financial education should be obligation in high school because some people don´t know the real value for somethings. Then goverment should be hard with the bad debts for them take care financial health better and dont´t be a spendthrift. After that the banks can´t charge a lot of taxes and high interest because the population in geral don´t know how much pay about it. Finally, if all people have had minimmum knowlodge and  consequence about waste money, they don´t be a big spender.

 I am not consider myself a cheapskate but my friends told me that I don´t open my hand for anything.
Some years ago, I was a big spender, I used to buy a lot of unnecessary things. Now I learn to be a spendthrift. I spend my money carefully because I kow how hard it is to get it.
Every that I can buy something that I like, firstly I search for what is the best price and if it´ll be necessary. When I see clothes, shoes, caps and stuff like that are on sale, I tend to buy it.
The best way to get good things with a good price is to buy them in diferrent seasons.
When you are in winter you need to buy beautiful hot clothes and when you are in summer you should buy winter clothes like jackets and jeans, for example.
Don´t waste money because it doesn´t grow on trees!

My motto is "Everything in moderation". This is my guide for my spending habits. If I need to buy something, I usually do researches at least in three different places before buying.
Most of time, I am frugal, but sometimes I spend my money with stuff that is not important.
I stick to a budget, so, I always pay off my credit card and I don't like buying in many installments.
Having a budget is important because I can control my expenses and I can save up some money.
By the end of 2012, I hope to have saved enough money to take a finance course in the USA when I will make a dream come true.

I've decided to reach my goals, some of them in a long-term way and others in a short-term. My short-term goal is to conclude my English course and start my master degree in eight months. Once I've completed my Eglish course, I plan to travel abroad on my vacation and practice my English. After my vacation, I intend to start my master degree.
My long-term goal is to have saved money to buy a house and to have reached real financial independence before I retire. By that time, I invited to have saved enough money to travel all around the world.

The life in accounting department is very hard. I am an example of workaholic.
When I was studying accounting I have never thougth that this life is extremely difficult.
During the month I don´t have a lot of problems but at the end of the month all problems happen together.
I need to work early to solve the problems. Every month I work on the weekends because I have a deadline and I can´t be late. Sometimes I need to work during the holidays as May 1st or November 2nd.
I think that I need to change my lifestyle  because I will become a tyrant. I have to relax, to travel to see my family, but nowadays it is difficult.
In summary,  the account need to learn to divide better social life and professional life because one day we will be crazy with a lot of work.

To be Optimist or Pessimist

Being pessimist or optimist is a question that involves more than the belief.
The environment, the education and the relationship can influence us, since childhood, to be optimist or pessimist. In that way we can identify another situation - to be realist. A person who is realistic can be optimistic or pessimistic, depends on the situation.
Well, we've been learning since we grow up and in entire life that to be optimistic we need to react in a positive manner and believe that there is good in life than bad thinks, that the problems are temporary. For a pessimistic person the idea is in the opposite way, they think that if something doesn't work or goes in a wrong way, the problem will continue to affect all areas of their life.
The idea (to be optimistic or pessimistic) can be changed, depend on our idea and our choice

Wise Guys: Smartest people in the World!

Wise Guys are people difficult to deal with.

They always do annoying things only to appear more funny and smart than they really are.I know because I work with a wise guy. He always knows about everything, he always has some advice to others, when someone tells us a story he says that thing has already happened with him or with someone his knows and starts telling his story because he thinks it is  the funniest.

In conslusion, wise guys need to find a way to listen to the others people without saying he knows how to do better, I think if They do these little things, he can be easily to deal with.

A Song for an important cause.

The original song was recorded in january 1985 and marked my childhood. It was produced for a purpose: get money for fight hunger in Africa. There are 45 singers, and I believe all of them donated the money that they won to sing in the video, for the important cause. The original one, invite us to remember the 80's when most of the singers started to be recognized
This new version was recorded in 2010 and show us new artists singing the same song, and again, they are fighting for the same purpose - The Hunger in Africa. For me, this is an example of a hit song in the world that marked a period with the lyrics, singers and the important cause. I think that this song has been sang and remembered by everybody and in all generations.

Tyrants make the office an unpleasant place to be.

Nowadays, it`s more usual to see tyrant people in charge of business than in the past.
I suppose there are some reasons for this:
1) People are becoming selfish;
2) Young people are in the power earlier and they don`t have much experience to get along employees.
3) Pressure for quick results is increasing a lot.
Tyrant person can`t be uplifting. In fact, its behaviour can destroy the environment.
There are many researches that show employees quiting the company because of the boss rather than salaries or other reasons.
Most employees like working in a team, whithout pressure for results and when there are bosses that ask for more than help, people are frustrated and the environment becomes bad.
More and more people are looking for quality of life because they realize that the life is so short to work extremely  hard and they can`t stand this situation for a long time.
So, tyrants should start to analyse their behaviour and change it! It`s never late for changing...

I really enjoyed what Churchill said: "The pessimists sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty".
In my oppinion it is important to try to be an optimistic person. Sometimes we have to deal with hard situations, specially in this century, and it isn't easy to think positively, but we can try and put a little shine in our lives instead of seeing a problem.
Remember that challenge can do miracles. We are not talking about being crazy or trying to be a "Poliana", but to make an effort when we can't see a light at the end of the tunnel. In this situation the way is to be a realistic person, but never a pessimistic person. If it is very difficult, you can try to stay in the middle.

Sharing a life changing experience

When I was 15 I moved to São Paulo with my sister to study in high school.
My sister and I were living in my aunt´s house. At the first time I fought with my parents because I could left my friends and my classemates. During the first 2 years was very hard to me because in São Paulo some people are more conservative, shy and quite.
When I was the last year in high school I have to decided if I will continue to study at University and to start to work or come back to Valença-RJ.
Now I understand my family when they decided for me to move to São Paulo because if I had stayed in Valença  city I would not have get a good job.
Today I am very happy with my lifestyle.

One of my life experience!!!!!!!!

A few years ago I received a proposal to work in Brasilia. At the begging was a big surprised and I think a lot about that, after a few days I accepted the proposal and went to Brasilia.

I Never went there and didn´t know anything, so for me was a big life-altering experience because I needed to find a house, know people, work with really different people and the most important stayed far from home and family, I never stayed far.

After a month I found a room in a house and knew the owner of the house and her family and I like so much them.

I Think because this experience when I came back home I was much more confident and I learned how to do the things by myself.

There was a good experience, I did good friends, learned a lot in my job and come back more mature.

In 2006 I travelled to study English in South Africa. For me it was a good experience to meet different people and to learn about another culture, habits, to visit diferent places and to enjoy a lot. Taking the difference

How can I show my feeling even being very hard to discribe them. I had to move to Salvador when I was 14, after my mother has died. At the time the life seemed painful and unfair, and only the time showed me how it´s possible grow up without someone that we love. That experience has already taken me to see beyond the mirror and have gotten me more mature and tolerant.
 I confess to you it was not easy making a life as children, but nowaday I feel more confidence.

When i went out to USA specific Milwalkee city this city is near of Chicago, i went to participate the job meeting but i met the indians, african and american citizens of many parts of USA, and it was a good experience and differents habbits, the latin america people like to walk, to eat together and indians people don´t like mix with other cultures, and african people were more talkative and helpful, its very interesting.

Comments - People all the words have habbits but be loveable, talkative and easygoing depends just for individual thinks.

Great life-changings in my life

When my first daughter was born, my life changed a lot. I've learned how to take care of a child and it really put things in perspective for me. On the other hand, when the second daughter came, I' was more experienced than I used to be.

I think everything is not good.
Being optimistic is good at times. but also it is good to be pessimistic in certain moments.
Today, in Market to be pessimistic can be a good idea for results....E.g. for your savings...
Everything is relative, depends on the scene, the time and the subject matter.
BUT, in general I still think that being optimistic is the best way!

I strong believe that it`s more important to be optimistic in order to succeed, because optimism always brings new points of view and people in general are easily to change when things are not very good, while pessimistic people always complain and don`t stop to see the big opportunities coming.

What is better to be Optimistic or Pessimistic?

In my opinion it´s better been optimistic always but we brazilian people didn´t learn to look the things by the good side.


We were born optimistic and early we start to be pessimistic because our family`s belief that the world is a unfair place.


It may be difficult to change our opinion later, if we dont have models of positive thinking.


But I think we can learn how to be optimist only trying to change our point of view and looking at the best things in all situations.


So don´t give up without trying and let´s be more optimistic.
